All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. For me, the glory of God and the word of God are inseparable. I have no sure sight of God’s glory except through his word. The Word mediates the glory, and the glory confirms the Word.

It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and Bible.

I am convinced that one of the greatest things we can do is to memorize Scripture.

Bible memorization is absolutely fundamental to spiritual formation. If I had to choose between all the disciplines of the spiritual life, I would choose Bible memorization, because it is a fundamental way of filling our minds with what it needs. This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth. That’s where you need it! How does it get in your mouth? Memorization.
